Puget Sound Energy is an energy company that supplies electricity and natural gas to residents of the Puget Sound region in Washington. The company serves more than 1.2 million residents across 10 counties. It also supplies natural gas to more than 800,000 residents. Puget Sound Energy offers its customers affordable rates for electricity and natural gas.

More than one-third of the electricity is generated at hydroelectric plants. Puget Sound Energy owns and operates hydroelectric plants, including the Baker River Hydroelectric Project, the Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Plant, and the Electron Hydroelectric Project. About 22% of the electricity is generated at natural gas-fired power plants.
